Bush leaving for OC at Kentucky
Quote from BroncoChief on February 10, 2024, 12:10 pmPete Thamel is reporting Bush Hamden is expected to be the next OC at Kentucky.
How does this affect all our new offensive signees? Who will the next OC be? The offseason was going so well too!

Quote from J M on February 10, 2024, 4:28 pmBummer. He just signed that new contract about a month ago and has a bunch of offensive weapons to work with next year. You’d think he stick around for at least next season. I seriously doubt anything special is gonna happen in Kentucky next season.

Quote from BroncoChief on February 10, 2024, 5:48 pmI understand BSU is doing all it can to keep him. Don’t know what it’ll cost but I can’t imaging we can come up with SEC type $. Will see how it goes.

Quote from BSUaddict on February 10, 2024, 11:08 pmYa this stinks. I know we wont be able to compete $$ wise but I hope that he ends up sticking around for at least one more season. Hate the thought that he helped bring in this much talent this offseason on offense to not coach it for at least 1 season

Quote from BSUBass77 on February 12, 2024, 6:18 pmThis was two days ago and still no word. That seems odd. Maybe Pete T. is going off half cocked again. We will see.

Quote from Railroader on February 12, 2024, 7:28 pmChatter says Hamden is in Spain on a family vacay and will be back this week. The boys and girls over on the other board are pretty much set on a new OC and been having a lively discussion on replacement. We may know soon, it is the coach's agent who does the negotiating and with modern day telecom Bush can chime in to approve or reject a deal. We probably will have an answer soon, there is so much smoke about this that there just may be a fire.

Im sure Hamdan's agent wanted word of him leaning towards a Kentucky deal to create some kind of leverage. I'd be genuinely shocked if he stayed. Being able to triple your AAV is hard to pass up and he's no stranger to moving from job to job. I trust that JD and Coach D will make sure to bring us the best possible OC to lead our offense

Quote from Bronco7454 on February 13, 2024, 4:31 amJust making an observation here (and a comment) but it always seems to me that EVERY time there is word of something like this the majority of posters over on Brand X immediately become imitations of Chicken Little. They A. Just accept that the story is true (without question) and B. Act like their world is coming to an end.
I - personally - prefer to wait and see if something is ACTUALLY true before turning into a version of Chicken Little.

Quote from Railroader on February 14, 2024, 4:19 pmIt appears to be official, Bush is the new OC at Kentucky. Unless the author of this article are complete liars. You don't have to be a Chicken Little to read the article. 🙂
