Side story…seems like Utah’s QB is in the transfer portal AND still playing in their bowl game. I wonder how much it cost a booster to get him to play??? What an interesting concept.

He may have been an OT at his JUCO but I'd suspect he'll be a guard at Boise State.

P.S. Has anyone else noticed that Boise State has updated the football roster and it's now the 2024 football roster?

Barnes, the UTE QB, is actually really good, played Pac competition. The OL for the UTEs this game was horrible He is a dual threat. Certainly better than what we have now. Who ever we get will probably be our starter.

Dont tell that to a lot of people on social media who like to hold 1 bad game against a kid and decide that's just the QB he is (even more annoying when its the bowl game they hold against them). I like Barnes. I think he could come in and immediately be our #1 guy. Seems like Purdy's name is picking up more and more steam. Think he got 3 offers today from Cal, TCU and North Texas. No Boise State offer as of now but that could change.
