Nebraska sports Sean Callahan posted "QB Chubba Purdy tells me he plans to enter the transfer portal. I'm told by another source Boise State is a possible landing spot for Purdy". Don’t know how legit this is but kinda interesting that Boise State was specifically mentioned. I know he’s not blowing up college football right now but a qb with some big time college football experience would be very valuable to this team next season.

Purdy visited Boise State back when he was in H.S. if I recall correctly. I could be mistaken about that tho. After all that was more than three year ago now. I know he was offered by Boise State.

Looked on his Twitter page and it doesnt seems like he made a trip out here as a recruit unless he just didnt post about it. I imagine he probably tagged along with his older brother Brock when he visted here though

I know his brother Brock did, but I don't remember Chubba visiting. After checking with 24/7 I don't see anything on official visits for Chubba. I think Harsin probably had contact with him, but he was mostly focused on Bachmier.

Chubba was in the 2020 class. The only QB offered by Boise State in the 2020 class (according to the 247 recruiting database) who ended up at Boise State was (walk-on) Andy Peters from local Timberline H.S. Bachmeier was in the previous class of 2019.

2020 was such a weird year. No official visits. No recruiting trips. Zoom calls and texts. It's amazing we had any recruits. 2021 was almost as bad, but we did get Jeanty with mostly zoom calls and texts plus some recruiting trips and player visits.

So glad those days are over. Whew.

Looks like we just picked up a huge JUCO OL player from Mt San Antonio College.

I believe he was a 1st team All American JUCO. Nice get!
