I like it. I can see us using Crowe as a 3rd down pass blocking option in the backfield. Jeanty and Dubar should still see bulk of the carries but still the need for a gritty 3rd RB and special teams guy.

The RB room is absolutely stacked again this year!  If (forbid) something happened to Jeanty I feel Dubar would step up.  Dylan and Gaines could prove to be useful too.  I don’t feel we should spend another scolly on a RB we have too many other needs to fill.  Go Broncos!

You are certainly free to feel whatever you wish but the Boise State coaching staff clearly does not share your feelings and instead thinks that Crowe is an asset to the team.  Otherwise they wouldn't be offering him the opportunity to return.  I agree with the coaches.  Having a VERY experience Senior running back on the team is a good thing IMO.  Just like I thought it was a good idea for Holani to return for the 2023 season (when he was seriously considering entering the NFL draft at this time last year).

The scholarship situation will sort itself out just as  it always does every year.  When fall camp begins they will have no more than 85 scholarship players.  As it stands right now Boise State will have a total of 6 scholarship running backs for the 2024 season & two of the six will be  true Freshmen.  And that includes Sire Gaines who may end up as a WR or a Safety.   Six scholarship running backs is certainly not out of the ordinary for a college football team.

P.S. Stats for Tyler Crowe for the last four seasons - 51 carries for 274 yds = 5.37 yd average per carry.   Also Crowe has carried the ball 51 times in 4 seasons for Boise State and he has NEVER lost ANY yardage, i.e., 0 yds lost in 51 carries over 4 years.  So every time he's carried the ball for Boise State over the last four years he has gotten positive yardage.

Bronco, Crowe staying is a great thing for the team.  With the current additions included we don’t need to add any more RBs now.

I see Jeanty staying on the field as much as possible. Hard to blitz when he’s such a danger as a check-down or screen option.

I didnt mean for it sound like i think he comes off the field. I just dont think he will get used as much as a blocker in those situations lol. Unless the WR group takes a big leap forward next season, I wouldnt be shocked to see Jeanty get some reps in the slot at times. Sucks we only got a few games of Jeanty and Holani together this year. Hopefully we get to see some of Bush's creativity with Jeanty and Dubar. I'm not convinced Sire Gaines will stick at RB either going into next season. I think he will be moved back to defense at some point or I could possibly see him maybe get kicked out to WR and maybe provide a spark there since we are in need of a immediate impact guy there as well.
