Poor start

Really disappointing start to the season (2-3 vs D1) after the first couple weeks. After all the preseason hype I thought this team would be almost certainly in the tournament field snd competing for a MW title. But with what they have shown so far I’m not seeing it. Not sure they are even close to the bubble.

Boise record includes wins against 78 SanFran and 83 VCU. Losses to 48 Clemson, 66 Virginia Tech, and 56 Butler. Clemson and Butler weren’t really even competitive.

So now many of these games are must wins and Boise will be underdogs vs. half the Mountain West.

You have to admit Rice is a good salesman. Had us all fooled with his dream team, like ol half a hundred. Its still early, but still worrying how the team is playing. Poor point guard play, poor shooting, poor free throw shooting.

Hope they can gell, Saint Mary will eat out lunch.

I don’t see an at large bid unless they immediately improve. I don’t think they can afford more than 1 more non-conference loss.
