During fall ball at Boise State there were 28 players listed on the Boise State softball team roster. That number I noticed this morning is now down to 27 players. The missing player appears to be outfielder Rebecca "Becky" Wetteland. She was a true freshman on the 2023 Boise State softball team but she may have been injured as she saw no playing time at all during the 2023 season. Not only that but on the 2023 softball team roster she was listed by name but all season long there was no number associated with her. I kept wondering why that was the case. And only recently (this fall) she was listed as # 3 on the roster.
I don't know what happened to cause her departure from the team but I certainly wish her well.
