Looks like Choate is trying to stir the pot already....

He is in a miserable situation with with UNR, gotta stir things up I guess.  Bulletin board material already and the football season is months away.  BTW - Purdy decommitted form SJSU and is now with the UNR.  Reno comes to our house this season, gonna be an interesting game now.  They need to splash his tweet on the big new video board with a failure to launch meme...

Go Broncos!

Could someone please translate Choate's meaning to me?   I don't get his comment at all.

As to Purdy...............Nevada's welcome to him.  He seems to be a VERY "flighty", i.e. flaky and a bit thoughtless.  He committed to San Jose State on the 14th of January and then 8 days later (yesterday) committed to Nevada.   Have to wonder what happened in those 8 days this month to convince him to switch from one of the three best teams in the MWC last season to the worst team in the MWC (2-10 last season).  Maybe it was the fact that San Jose State's head coach left to take the Arizona head coaching job and he didn't care for Brennan's replacement?

Choate is probably out recruiting in the Boise area and decided to have some fun with it. He knew it would rile up our fanbase for engagements and it worked

For Purdy, I think you answered your own question. Coach Brennan was probably his lead recruiter. Purdy probably even waited it out to see what the Arizona QB was going to do first before committing to Reno. I don't see it as "flaky, thoughtless". You only get x amount of years to play ball in college. Find the best spot for yourself even if that journey takes you to a few different destinations.

I see his entire football career as "flaky and thoughtless".  So far I think he's "committed" to five different schools.  Key words being "so far".
