As to Purdy...............Nevada's welcome to him. He seems to be a VERY "flighty", i.e. flaky and a bit thoughtless. As to Purdy...............Nevada's welcome to him. He seems to be a VERY "flighty", i.e. flaky and a bit thoughtless. Choate is probably out recruiting in the Boise area and decided to have some fun with it. He knew it would rile up our fanbase for engagements and it worked
For Purdy, I think you answered your own question. Coach Brennan was probably his lead recruiter. Purdy probably even waited it out to see what the Arizona QB was going to do first before committing to Reno. I don't see it as "flaky, thoughtless". You only get x amount of years to play ball in college. Find the best spot for yourself even if that journey takes you to a few different destinations.
