Latest addition to the Boise State softball team

Kylie Baumert played her H.S. softball for Twin Falls High School in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Kylie Baumert started her collegiate athletic career at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, ID.  There she played Volleyball and Softball and she helped them win a national Vollleyball team championship for C.S.I. as a "Libero".

She was so good in Volleyball that U.S.C. (the Univ. of Southern California) signed her to play for them for two years.  She did not play Softball for U.S.C. tho as - hard as it may be to believe - U.S.C. doesn't have a Softball team.

Then last December (2021) she returned to the College of Southern Idaho to play last spring once again on the C.S.I. softball team - where she primarily played as their center fielder.  During her two seasons of playing softball for C.S.I. she batted .433 with 206 career hits and 164 career runs.  Both are school records for C.S.I.  Also, her father, Nick Baumert, is the softball coach at C.S.I.

She has now signed to play for Boise State with two seasons of eligiblity remaining.
