Dan Hawkins steps down as UC Davis head football coach?

Coincidence? Oh...........and the former O.C. for Boise State who was unceremoniously let go last season (Plough) is replacing him.

Bachmeier also joined him at UC Davis. Bach made a comment that now he (Plough) can implement the offense he wants without interference. It makes me feel a bit sorry for both of them if AA had interfered with Plough's offensive scheme and Bach's development too...

We may never know what truly happened, but it is looking more like AA was an extreme micro-manager.

You say "extreme micro-manager" and I would say "extreme control freak". It's just semantics tho. I think we're saying the same thing overall.

Personally I think his biggest character flaw is his inability to treat people how they SHOULD be treated. I think he has a lot of anger inside of him. Which is great if you are a linebacker (back when he was) but it's an awful trait for a head football coach.

Bach should join Plough at UC Davis for his last year. Drop down to FCS and start for his last year. I don't see a huge market for Hank at FBS level
