I know it's not fair to compare stats for the non MWC games but currently Boise State is next to last among the 9 MWC softball teams in both team batting average (.252) and team E.R.A. (5.37). The only MWC softball team that has a worse team batting average is Utah State and the only MWC softball team that has a worse team ERA is San Jose State.

But this is troubling IMO. Especially in light of the fact that last season Boise State was # 1 in the MWC with a .316 team batting average and # 2 among MWC softball teams with a team E.R.A. of 2.71.
