Broncos can't drop any of next three games against Q3-Q4 opponents

Starting tonight, Boise State's next three games come against Fresno State (#182 NET), Colorado State (#119 NET) and at Air Force (#140 NET). As things currently stand the Broncos will have a Q4 win opportunity against the Bulldogs with Q3 win opportunities against the Rams and Falcons. Air Force is five spots away from becoming a Q2 game, needing to move into the top 135.

There is no other way to put it other than that Boise State needs to win all three of these games. With how competitive the league is along with college basketball as a whole, the Broncos face an uphill battle no matter what the current numbers say.

With wins, Boise State will head into Viejas Arena having won eight of its last nine games in what would be must-see TV in comparison to the other games on February 3. It's simple, win the next three games and the Broncos have an opportunity to show the country they belong by beating a (potential) first place Mountain West team on their home court.

This 3 game stretch concerns me. Fresno is a team you don't want to doubt cause they have shown the ability to beat good teams. They seem like the perfect team to feast on others who take them lightly. Air Force is much better than I think people anticipated but at the same time have lost nearly all of their games against the top end of conference by double digits. Their Princeton offense always gives us issues. They are so good at getting backdoor cuts at will when they are on their game.  Colorado State to me is the team to worry about. I have no idea why the Rams are struggling as bad as they are. Doesn't seem like injuries are a major factor. They have beaten LMU and Saint Maries but have also dropped games against the likes of Wyoming, Northern Colorado and Air Force. They have talent. Don't think I expected them to replicate last season but didn't think the drop-off would be this severe either.
