Why can't Rice's teams play a complete game? Implosion is complete, tie game. We look terrible this half. Shooting and execution is bad.

6:20 left, down by 5 without the momentum. Doesn’t look good at this point.

The refs are terrible but we are choking again. Missing free throws, poor execution, missing shots. I'm done watching, off to bed. Hopefully we don't lose by double digits. USU wanted this game more. Another Rice letdown.

Missed FREE throws killing us. I wonder if they are tired. Short bench could be catching up although Milner and Whitting doing their best.

Get some rest and on to the NCAAs. Lack of height and bench depth will hurt. Losing tonight might relegate us to a 10 seed. Go Broncos!

I could hear the class of Utah State fans with their Boise sucks chant. Why is it that Utah State fans seem to have a need to be nasty fans. I don’t get it.

No hurt in the loss tonight. Sucks losing but could tell in that 2nd half our guys legs were just not there. Utah State earned that win in the 2nd half. Officiating sucked but its not like it was favoring one side or the other. Just awful officiating for a game with that high of stakes.

I really do feel like this team will be the team to get us our first NCAA tourny win. They have the grit. Hopefully get an extra couple days of rest if we get placed in Denver.

Win or loss tonight I still think we were 10 seed bound. I think that is honestly a better matchup anyway than a 8/9 seed. There could be an outside chance of us playing in Dayton but I highly doubt it. Our resume holds up pretty well to be solidly in the field. I think Utah State locked up a spot but still think they are in the last 4 in category unless they win tomorrow as well.

@broncochief: Utah State fans act the way they do because they are like BYU fans. They are of the same social/religious inferiority complex team. You should see/hear how BYU fans act to Univ of Utah during football/basketball games. When the Utes play football in Provo they had C Cell batteries and usually snowballs thrown at them. I have friends who play "church ball" and the describe it as "church brawl." FWIW - I have lived in the Salt Lake area for over 30 years and what the USU fans chant is rather mild. Wearing my BSU gear even to work can get double glances or comments. We are Broncos! For that reason we have a target on our backs since we are so much better as a school and team.

On happier topics. BJ says we are a solid 9 or 10 seed depending on Lunardi or Palm. Time for the big dance.
