Boise State softball vs Stanford tonight & Friday night can be watched

Via the Stanford Live Stream (a Stanford controlled webcast) here:

Thanks for the link!  Go Broncos!

The countdown clock for the game - on the Stanford website - is saying this game starts in 32 minutes from now (at 4:48 p.m. MT) - meaning this game starts at 5:30 p.m. MT - not 6:30 p.m. MT.   Guess we/I will find out in about 30 minutes from now.

If the link above does not work (and I've had LOTS of trouble with Stanford Live Streams in the past) try this link here:

P.S. The countdown (mentioned in the previous message here) was clearly wrong.  Apparently they can't tell time at the bastion of higher learning that is Stanford University.

As of 5:50 p.m. MT I am now seeing video on the last link I provided here.  So this SHOULD be the way to see the game tonight at the pac-12.com/live/stanford-university link above.

It appears they are currently removing the tarp that was covering the infield.

According to the Stanford softball Facebook account - a message posted 8 minutes ago - said the good news was "the lineup is set" and the bad news is "the tarp is on the field".  So it appears the game is being delayed by rain.   No mention of that on the Boise State softball Facebook account (yet).

It looks like tonight's game is not going to happen.  The weather at Stanford, CA. is showing rain thru 9 p.m. tonight with only about a 2 hour break from 9 to 11 p.m.   Of course an hour ago the report was completely different.

The game was played last night but did not begin until 8:30 p.m. MT / 7:30 p.m. PT after a two hour rain delay.   Boise State lost in 6 1/2 innings 0-7 to # 7 ranked Stanford last night.  Caudill was the losing pitcher and Stanford's Ace pitcher (Canaday) was the winning pitcher.   Canaday's E.R.A. going into last night's game was an impressive 0.65 and after blanking Boise State for 7 innings last night her E.R.A. is now down to 0.53 after 52.2 innings pitched so far this season.  The game ended at 10:40 p.m. MT last night.
