Boise State softball games in week # 3

Walljasper did it again - retired the first three Michigan batters 1-2-3 in the top of the 5th inning. Only 2 1/2 inning left in regulation with Boise State leading Michigan 4-1. Boise State is now up to bat in the bottom of the 5th inning.

End of the fifth inning and Boise State still leading Michigan 4-1.

Walljasper has yielded only 1 hit to Michigan in the last 4 innings and she has retired the Michigan batters 1-2-3 in the last three innings (4th - 5th - 6th).

She has also lowered her E.R.A. for the season down to 5.431. Prior to this game her 2023 E.R.A. was 6.74.

Boise State wins 4-2 in the top of the 7th inning after giving up one run in the 7th.

Boise State will play Michigan again tomorrow morning at 11:30 a.m. & then play Stanford at 4:30 p.m. MT

This should be a good win for the Broncos when the selection comes around. I am pretty happy I paid the extra $75 for good seats at the home games.

Michigan is currently playing Nevada. After 2 innings the score is 0-0.

And now - after 4 full innings that game between Nevada and Michigan is still tied 0-0.

Nevada, which was one of the worst softball teams in the MWC last season, beat Michigan 3-0 with 1 run scored in the 6th inning and two more runs scored in the 7th inning. How did Michigan get to be ranked # 25 in the country?
