I guess the AA firing is his excuse, at least via his overly vocal high school football coach. The real truth is closer to he was just using us as a placeholder to go to Michigan or Oregon after is mission. AA's firing probably just gave him cover to decommit early.

Lame. But there’s no way you don’t make a coaching change that was needed for one player that wouldn’t have even taken a snap for the next two years and also had those two years to basically sale himself for a NIL deal for another program and possibly never come to BSU in the first place. It would have been great for him to stay home and be THE GUY here. Instead now you takes the chance of going to a program that’s got multiple receivers just as good if not better than you and possibly getting lost in the depth chart. But good luck to him wherever he goes still like seeing local talent succeed.

I wish we could keep our top HS talent in Idaho. For this kid, he is going on a mission. So won'tplay till 2025. SO MUCH can happen in 2 years. Who knows if Dan Lanting (Oregon)or Jim Harbaugh (Michigan) will even be at their schools in 2025. Kid may well wind up at BYU is my guess

More than anything what annoys me is he was talking a lot about staying in state and doing big things in Idaho, then he takes the first excuse he gets to go somewhere else. I don't blame someone for taking the opportunities they get but don't act like you're all about Idaho and that doing something at home is important to you if you'll leave that quickly.

It’s not about loyalty, it’s about the Benjamin’s. Do Not want him, Do Not need him. Bolt is 10 times the heart that this kid is - 2 years down the road is “rusty time“ physically. No Big Loss. Best to him wherever he lands.
