Albertsons Stadium revamp: Fewer (premium) seats, new timeline, peek at the future

Article in the BoiseDev magazine on the upcoming NEZ expansion. It will cost $60 million and starts after the Potato Bowl this year, completion for 2026 season. Future expansion info too for SEZ and other projects.

As far as improving the status of the program goes, these types of improvements are required and the right move to make. But as far as the average fan access is concerned, it’s like housing in the valley, the average person is being priced out. Hopefully BSU can still find access for the average FAN just wants to attend. There needs to be a balance because blue collar Bronco Nation depends on affordable access AND the $ to compete. Go Broncos!

Hopefully the next expansion of the SEZ will provide more seats for the average fans. Per the article, the new NEZ will generate between $4-$5 million in revenue/season compared to $300,000 now. A no brainer for sure in this age of money "talks" in college sports.

I’m getting tired of these mock ups on the stadium renovation. What’s this like the fourth one in the lasts ten years now and still no real progress. Let’s get it going already.
