According to the CBS Sports website there are five Boise State players ranked for the 2023 NFL Draft later this month (April 27, 28th & 29th). They are ranked as follows:
# 39 overall - J. L. Skinner - Safety
# 191 overall - Tyreque Jones - Safety
# 200 overall - Scott Matlock - Defensive Lineman
# 265 overall - George Tarlas - EDGE
# 392 overall - John Ojukwu - Offensive Lineman
Last year, in the 2022 NFL Draft, there were 262 college players who were selected in the NFL draft from # 1 to Mr. Irrelevant (Brock Purdy of Iowa State at # 262). Former Boise State WR Khalil Shakir was the only Boise State player who was selected in the 2022 NFL Draft with pick # 148 in the 5th round by the Buffalo Bills.
