Mountain West vs. PAC 12 in football in 2022

I just looked at the football schedules for games between the Mountain West Conference schools vs. the PAC 12 schools. Looks like there will be eight games this season between the MWC & the PAC 12. Question is which conference will win the majority of these match-ups this season? Or will it be a tie at 4-4?

Week # 1

Arizona @ San Diego State

Boise State @ Oregon State

Week # 2

Colorado @ Air Force

U.N.L.V. @ California

Oregon State @ Fresno State

Week # 3

Colorado State @ Washington State

San Diego State @ Utah

Fresno State @ U.S.C.

my guess:

MW 2-0 week one

2-1 week two

0-3 week three

My two cents, if it is worth that.... MWC will be 1-7 at worst, or 2-5.

Week 1: I don't think SDSU is all that good overall, better defensively, but not a high scoring team with a new untested QB. Arizona wins in a squeaker. I feel BSU is a more completed team this year but it will be our defense that carries the day with Bachmier finding a way to win in the end.

Week 2: Either 0-3 or Fresno pulls it out as a win. If we really beat up OSU then the Fesnecks will have a better path to a win.

Week 3: I just don't see the MWC making much hay and win.

Not trying to rain on our conference but I just don't see anybody but BSU and possibly Fresno having the horses to pull out wins.

I posted a message yesterday here saying I agreed with your picks here. But - as has happened here before - I see it's not here today. Soooooooooooo I guess I'll post pretty much the same message AGAIN. Hope this one sticks here.

I said yesterday that I agreed with your picks here but I thought there is a chance that San Diego State could have a chance to beat Utah @ Utah in week # 3. Not saying that they have a good chance to do that but simply that they have a chance to win that game IMO.

P.S. NOW I see what the problem is here. I hit the SUBMIT button here - thinking that it would be submitted - and yet it did NOTHING. Now I have to hit the SUBMIT button AGAIN. Sometimes I've had to hit the SUBMIT button three times before it finally does what it's supposed to do the FIRST TIME.

Hey Bronco, you basically have to hit submit two different times for it to show up now, as they try to eliminate the spam bots. When you hit submit, I believe the page will reload and then you have to hit submit again. Not ideal, but working to get rid of the bots. I'll keep working at it.

I think that as long as the MWC can play to a .500 record vs the PAC then that's a win in my book and shows that the level of separation between the conferences is smaller than the P5/G5 designation would suggest.
