Roughly 26 hours till tomorrow's football game vs. San Diego State - the ONLY team in the MWC that has a winning record against Boise State at 4-3 and this place is silent as silent can be. Unless you count all of the SPAM-BOT messages here.

I will admit that just CoulterRey was the only one who commented on the post I made, with an article on Koetter. That was a significant story that exposed the problems Plough created in the QB room Koetter isn't making any big changes, just some minor tweaks. The biggest change is ending Plough micro-management of the QB foot moves in the game.

I am looking forward to Friday's game to see how the offense performs under Koetter. The goal should be smoother play calling, more up tempo flow, and hopefully lots more scoring.

Looking forward to a fresh start. Hopefully the change reinvigorates our offense and is contagious through out. This game now sets the tone for the rest of the season. We don’t need a massive 180, just some improvement and a W. Go Broncos!

Appreciate you guys for trying to help get the forums going here. Very intriguing game tomorrow. I don't know what to expect. Can't remember this much intrigue for a game in my 10 years here...

Over/Under at 185 passing yards for Taylen Green. Which way you going?

Leaning towards the underf or his passing total. Not an ideal team to get your first start against. I think this will a feeling out game for both Green and Koetter. I suspect SDSU will throw the kitchen sink at him and never really allow him to get settled in. So i expect the offense to still be kind of stuck with where we are at. I think the key to the game for us is try our best to make every 3rd down at least no more than 3-4 yards to go. Cant expect this struggling offense with a brand new QB and OC to try and constantly convert 3rd and long or even 3rd and mediums for that matter.

Intriguing? I guess that's as good a word as any I suppose. However I look at it this way. After the debacle of incompetence (on both sides of the ball) last week vs. U.T.E.P. they really can only go one way. That being UP. They certainly can't do any worse than last week. They can ONLY improve from here.

Also speaking frankly about Bachmeier - who kept making the same mistakes over and over and over again - again the Boise State QB results can only improve over what's been seen to date.

P.S. I sincerely wish Mr. Bachmeier a LOT of luck in the transfer portal process. As long as he doesn't transfer to any other MWC team. It will be interesting to see who (if anyone) will give him another chance.

I think the total passing yards will be under. Our receivers have yet to show the ability to consistently separate. When there is a 50/50 ball, we don’t have anyone who has gone up and get it. Caples has been the best receiver thus far. What ever happened to Cobbs? Is he injured and not able to play at top capabilities? Go Broncos!

Craziest game I've watched in person was the first career start of a similar style redshirt freshman QB on the blue. That dude ran for 177 yards and two scores and passed for another 243 yards and three TDs. Boise scored 69 and was able to win in OT.

I think we see a similar game from Taylen if Boise can get some of their starting dudes back on the OL. If it's the same banged up cast as last week, then maybe 185 combined passing/rushing for Green. I'd take the under at this point in time against a decent SDSU defense.
