Visiting Fan Tips

UCF fan making the trip to Boise this September. Really looking forward to visiting your stadium, campus and city!!  Tips for place to stay, things to do, places to eat?  Thanks in advance!

Lots of places to eat downtown near campus. Depending on how much you're looking to spend there are nice hotels downtown too but there's plenty of places around campus that aren't too spendy. Oh and be sure to wear blue 😉

As an out of town Broncos fan, we always stay at the Holiday Inn at Parkcenter.  It is walking distance to the stadium, and close to downtown and several restaurants next door.  I would check out the botanical garden or Lucky Peak reservoir for non-football activities.

There is also the Boise Zoo and the Raptor Center (birds of prey, not Raptors 🙂 ).  The Greenbelt via bike or hiking is also a great way to see the natural side of the city.  Oh by the way, Boise means Trees in French.

Eats:  Bardenay in the Basque block (look up the Basque people), Goldie’s for breakfast,

To do:  The Springs for a good hot spring soak (reservations recommended).

Thanks for the tips so far. We ended up booking at the Holiday Inn Express University. I’ve heard rumblings that this game may get moved to Friday night. Any noise about this out there?

We haven't heard much on the scheduling front yet. I wouldn't be shocked though if it did get moved to a Friday night. Hopefully within the next month or so we will know more
