The MWC championship game will be

decided this weekend IF both Boise State and Fresno State win their respective games vs. Wyoming & Nevada.   Fresno State is a near LOCK to win their game vs. Nevada as Fresno is favored by 22 1/2 points in their game @ Nevada on Saturday.   Boise State is favored by 14 1/2 points over Wyoming.

IF they both win this weekend the Mountain West 2022 football championship game will be held in Boise on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 2022, at 2 p.m. MT.  And the game will be televised on FOX (channel 9 in Boise).

I, for one, hope that IF this is the case, that Boise State will not take the Utah State game for granted and play a lot of the non-starters in the Utah State game.   I've always thought that strategy invariably ends up back-firing on teams that do that sort of thing.

If we can keep our running game going then we will win handily.  The key is moving the chains and capitalizing on our scoring opportunities.  Wyoming looked terrible against CSU and was lucky to pull out a win.  I know they have a tough defense but if we get a 2 possession lead then they will be hard pressed to catch us.  Now, Fresno State in the championship game with a healthy Haener I do worry about.  They are crushing teams with their passing game since Haener came back and he wants revenge for last year.  First, one game at a time, take care of the Pokes, followed by USU (gaggies), then the championship.  I just hope, as Bronco7475 says, that AA doesn't rest the starters and we lose to them.  Bad way to ruin the team's momentum.  Go Broncos!

Wow I did not realize BSU was favored by so much against Wyoming.
