The line on the Fresno State game next Saturday

Just released at the Las Vegas Odds website. Boise State is a 6 1/2 point favorite over Fresno State. I'm ASSUMING that this means that Jake Haener will - once again - miss the game (as he did vs. Connecticut).

If Haener was expected to be back I don't think Boise State would be favored or at the very least not favored by almost a full TD.

The opening lines on the other six MWC games this weekend (NOTE - All 12 MWC teams play this weekend):

Nevada @ home vs Colorado State - Nevada is favored by 3 1/2 pts

San Jose State @ home vs. U.N.L.V. - San Jose State is favored by 2 1/2 pts

San Diego State @ home vs Hawaii - SDSU is favored by 16 1/2 points (the same SDSU that lost to Boise State 35-13 and only had 2 FG's on offense)

Air Force @ Utah State - Air Force is favored by 9 1/2 points

Wyoming @ New Mexico - Wyoming is favored by 4 pts

Updated lines on MWC games next weekend:

Nevada opened as a 2 1/2 pt favorite over CSU and the line is now Nevada -3 1/2 pts

SJS opened as a 3 1/2 pt favorite over U.N.L.V. and the line is now San Jose State -6 points

Air Force opened as a 9 1/2 pt favorite over Utah State and that line is not Air Force -10 1/2 pts

Wyoming opened at -4 pts and that line is not Wyoming -7 pts

Boise State opened as a 5 1/2 pt favorite and that line is now Boise State -7 pts

San Diego State opened as a 13 1/2 pt favorite over Hawaii and that line is now SDSU -20 1/2 pts

I was just perusing the Bark Board (Fresno) and they had a FSU vs BSU prediction thread. Those guys sounded just terrible, really down on the team and game. One prediction was 65-10 Boise, or most having use win by about 30. From their comments Haener is still out, along with their top WR and RB. I am looking forward to the game, predict we will win by about 21 if we really get rolling.
