If the worst case does happen and those 2 are out. I said it on twitter but ill post it here as well. Spinning this into a positive: Tons of young guys on our bench who will most likely need to have big minutes tonight. There really isn't a much better road environment on the west coast than the Viejas. We will see if the young guys on the bench can rise to the occasion and hang with a tough SDSU team. We may even see a couple players blossom under pressure tonight

Unfortunately this is how I saw this game turning out. Without Shaver we have no other PG with confidence that can handle the length/size the Aztecs have. To make matters worse we were without Deggie for majority of the first half with 3 fouls. Plus side is that Milner has given us some quality minutes. Making the most of his opportunity. Not too many other positives. Rice leading the way scoring for us but he's been our only threat thus far. Whiting and Pavle not doing a good job handling the full court press nor are guys getting open for them. Something has to be up with Sada injury wise. Theres no negative in playing him tonight unless he is not healtby and having an injury hinder him. Dont really understand Rice's thinking with him.
