Texas tech xfer on the list? Big body.

Check the date.  This was posted on the 27th of last month and Ethan Carde just committed (signed?) YESTERDAY.

But since you brought him up it seems to be a lock that Beresford and Carde will be the two likely starters at the OT spots.  Who plays at LT and who plays at RT remains to be seen.   That leaves Dooley, Randolph and Curran to play the two guard spots.

I think Carde and Casey will have a good battle in camp for either LT/RT pending if we move Beresford or keep him at RT. Casey has a ton of upside and really do think he is the next tackle in line to be drafted. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Randolph maybe get some work in at center and that's where Carde will fit in at RG. One name to keep an eye on for playing time is Jason Steele. If there is a true frosh that can have an impact this season on the offensive side of the ball, its him.

I am not ruling out Carde playing a similar role here as he did at Tech with him being a swing G/T. Its clear Avalos, Hamden and Keane felt the need to really try and get bigger on the OL for this upcoming season.

These big boys should do well. Hopefully everyone stays healthy

Well, as the saying in wrestling goes....................and it applies equally to football

"it's not a matter of IF you are going to get injured...........it's a matter of WHEN you are going to get injured"

Injuries ARE going to happen in football - particularly on the offensive line.
