The wrong team won obviously but it was a great game nonetheless.
I completely understand why coach Schultz went off on that home plate umpire and got himself thrown out of the game. That umpire was one of the worst umpires I've ever seen in my life. He repeatedly called balls as strikes and strikes as balls. And that game should have been over when that Colorado State player SHOULD have been called out on a 3rd strike pitch that the incompetent umpire called a ball despite the fact that it was right over the plate.
About the only good thing one can say about that umpire is he didn't discriminate. He was making bad calls for 4 hours on BOTH teams.
