E-Sports

I found out on the latest BNN update that Boise State has an E-Sports team, and I can't wait to learn more.  What is the recruiting process like?  Is there a transfer portal for E-Sports?  I have four years eligibility left and feel these kids today are coddled.  Much like the NFL and NBA I feel E-Sports has gotten soft over the years.  I grew up playing Mario Bros, Double Dragon, Zelda, and more.  Kids these days don't know about trying to land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun, or trying to beat Mike Tyson in the original Punch Out.  We didn't have these fancy graphics or YouTubers telling us how to beat the level.  What we had was a controller with two damn buttons and a whole lot of determination.  We didn't have save points every five minutes or teammates coming to revive us after we died for the 15th time.  Just like in football.  Can't even touch the quarterback without getting a 15 yard penalty.  If I end up enrolling at Boise to get a master's degree I'm going to teach these kids a lesson.  I can hit stick with anyone in Madden, and don't let me get an RPG in Call of Duty or it's over.
