BYU series lost

We just lost a big annual game after 2022.  I wonder who JD will select for replacement?  Unfortunately I have little hope for quality P5 schools.  After replacing Michigan State with lowly Tennessee Martin for a guaranteed win that may be the route taken.  What FCS schools would you all want to see?  How about NDST or SDST?  Northern Iowa?  James Madison or Montana State?  If we could get a G5 how about a home and home with Coastal Carolina or Liberty?  Speak up board!

For a G5 opponent, I’d like to see Memphis or SMU.  For the AAC to remain relevant after losing their top 3 schools, they would need to play and beat the top G5 conference in head to heads. That will be the MW.  Of course I’d prefer any opponent from the G5.  Since the athletic departments now have fans back, Dickey will not need to minimize the schedule any further.  If he does, he will lose more fans.

I'd really like to get Southern Cal or UCLA to a 1H-2A if H-H isn't available. Or even Stanford/Cal. So many students from those areas it would be great for image/marketing to be playing those teams IMO. Also all the Big 12 Texas schools.

I would set G5 H-H's as targeting recruiting hotbeds and places that are decent for fans to travel to. Rice, UTSA, SMU, FIU, FAU, USF, CCU, Tulane, Louisiana, GSU.  Maybe do a 2H-1A with a team like UTEP/NMSU/Tulsa.

For payday FCS schools, I'd like to see Boise try to host some HBCU's (especially Jackson State with Coach Prime).

Personally it's of no importance to me who they replace B.Y.Who with in 2023.  I say that because I learned a long time ago not to concern myself with things that I have no control over.   And as near as I can tell the only one who has any control on this is the Boise State A.D.   He'll have to scramble to find someone to play and they will get who they get.  Simple as that.  I'm sure he's working on it right now as I type this here.

Having said that here are some of the NCAA FBS football teams who have openings on their 2023 football schedule according to this website:   https://fbschedules.com/future-college-football-schedules/

Memphis, S.M.U., Northwestern, Liberty, Florida International, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Louisiana Tech, Southern Mississippi.

What I do know is IF Boise State beats B.Y.Who in Boise next fall then the all-time record in football between Boise State will be 9 wins vs 4 losses for Boise State and of course 4-9 for B.Y.Who.
