Quote from Railroader on November 19, 2022, 11:04 amJust imagine if we started the season with Koetter as OC and Greene as QB. Plough really set us back and blew up Bach's chances to improve. Plough almost destroyed Greene by holding him back and he is a horrible QB coach. Too bad we can keep Koetter for another year to develop Greene some more and mentor a new OC. Possibly he will stay on as an analyst to ease the new OC into the job. His experience that he can share is priceless.
This would be a great discussion thread on its own. Who should be our next OC?

Quote from BroncoChief on November 19, 2022, 4:20 pmFirst, it would be great to see Dirk back in the advisor role, that would provide the continuity. For the OC, there are many choices. I’d like to see Mike Sanford back in that role after he is let go by Colorado. He has gained a ton of knowledge since he last left Boise. I also think it will be difficult to hold onto Danielson as the D coordinator. He has done a great job and will be highly sought after by the deeper pocketed schools. I think Frank Maille would be a great fit there. Will be an interesting off season for sure. Go Broncos!

Quote from Railroader on November 19, 2022, 4:25 pmThe knock against Mike Sanford is that he never plants himself more than a couple years at any one place. It would be great to get an OC who will stay for at least 3 -5 years. Agree on Danielson possibly being poached soon. We can't compete with P5 wages. Maille would be a great replacement if that happens.

Although i agree losing Danielson would be tough but Kane Ioane I would assume would get promoted from being the CO-DC to playcaller. I think Ioane is going to be one that will be tough to hang onto.
