The Boise State softball team was offered a spot in a post season tournament (not the NCAA tournament). But they declined. The only other post-season softball tournament that I know of is the National Invitational tournament in Colorado - which San Jose State is participating in today at 1 p.m.

I can understand why they declined the invite as participating in a tournament like that tournament comes with a hefty cost to the school and Boise State softball's priority right now HAS to be funding to install LED lights for the softball field. And funding for any other Mountain West Conference requirements that need to be met in order to host the 2024 MWC softball championship tournament.
