Tyson Degenhart had 20 points and 11 rebounds and Andrew Meadow had 18 points and nine rebounds as the Boise State men’s basketball team picked up an 84-71 win over Clemson on Sunday afternoon at ExtraMile Arena.
Boise State, which lost 85-68 at Clemson last season after getting out-rebounded by 15, was plus-8 on the glass in handing Clemson its first loss of the season.
O’Mar Stanley had 13 points for the Broncos, who got eight points each from Alvaro Cardenas and Javan Buchanan.
Boise State led just 36-35 at the half but pulled away during an impressive second half.
The Broncos, who had 21 bench points, shot 45.5 percent from the field.
Boise State (3-1) next heads to the Cayman Islands Classic. The Broncos will open up against Hampton on Sunday.
