The Boise State football team announced an updated 2022 roster Monday afternoon, including the return of 11 ‘super seniors’ and the addition of 12 early enrollees.
The Broncos also announced the departure of three players – nose tackle Scale Igiehon, defensive tackle Keegan Freeborn and tight end Tyler Eiguren.
The 11 ‘super seniors’ returning for a final season with the Broncos are offensive linemen Will Farrar and John Ojukwu, wide receiver Davis Koetter, tight end Kurt Rafdal, cornerbacks Caleb Biggers and Jared Reed, defensive end Shane Irwin, safety Tyreque Jones, nickelback Roman Kafentzis, linebacker Ezekiel Noa and defensive tackle Divine Obichere.
All were seniors in 2021 but received an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the 2020 season.
The 12 early enrollees from the 2022 recruiting class already on campus are offensive linemen Cade Beresford and Kage Casey, defensive linemen Jack Beresford, Cortez Hogans, Deven Wright and JJ Talo and Braxton Fely, punter James Ferguson-Reynolds, running back Ashton Jeanty, EDGE George Tarlas, tight end Austin Terry and quarterback Sam Vidlak.
