The Boise State football team has played in plenty of big games in famous venues over the years.
This one will likely be right near the top.
Boise State announced Tuesday afternoon it will travel to play at Notre Dame on Oct. 4th, 2025.
The matchup features two of the winningest FBS programs in history. Notre Dame ranks No. 4 all time with a .730 winning percentage, while Boise State is No. 6 at .725.
The matchup will be the first ever between the two teams. When the Broncos travel to South Bend, it will be their first game ever in the state of Indiana.
Per a copy of the contract sent to BNN, Boise State will receive $1.35 million from Notre Dame for the game. The Broncos will receive 5,000 tickets to sell.
Boise State will open the 2025 season at South Florida on August 30th, 2025, and will host Easter Washington on Sept. 6, 2025. The Broncos announced last week they will host App State on Sept. 27, 2025.
A Boise State release said joining the BAA will likely be the only way for fans to get tickets as part of Boise State’s 5,000 allotment due to the expected high demand.
Correct me if I’m wrong, weren’t we number one in % wins when the great Chris Peterson left? Notre Dame should be a snap win after winning the National Championship this year.
