The Boise State football team landed the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff on Sunday morning and earned a first round bye.
They’ll play the winner of No. 6 seed Penn State and No. 11 seed SMU in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31st at 5:30 p.m. MT.
Boise State players and coaches cheered during a private watch party when the bracket was unveiled.
The Broncos went 12-1 and won the Mountain West Championship on Friday night with a 21-7 win over UNLV.
Boise State was the No. 9 ranked team in the rankings, but earned the No. 3 seed as the third-highest ranked conference champion.
