B.J. Rains is a three-time winner of the NSMA Idaho Sportswriter of the Year Award. He covered Boise State Athletics for the Idaho Press from 2013 to 2021 before leaving to create Bronco Nation News. Rains, who was a voter in the Associated Press Top 25 men’s college basketball poll from 2014-2021, also makes weekly appearances on KTIK 93.1 FM each Friday at 4 p.m.
